Sometimes we question what is good for us don't we? But, unless we can see into the future, how will we ever know? There are some things we may have to face in our lives that cause a reaction of worry and stress. The idea is to live it out, learn from it and understand how to deal with it.
I'm currently sat on a train travelling to a destination that caused me to come home nearly every night crying. You may ask why I have chosen to go there again? The answer is I hadn't. I was told to come and what I must do now is take the opportunity and turn it from bad to good. The most positive thing so far is, I no longer travel here every day and the person that made it so terrible has gone.
You see we shouldn't put ourselves in a position of hate, apprehension sure, I mean we all wonder what the future holds, but it's how you deal with it that helps us to grow and become stronger.
It's easy to say don't worry about it, many people will tell you, because they aren't in your head feeling that apprehension or doubt. I'm not going to say it will all be fine, because I simply don't know. What I do know, is that you have the power to deal with anything if you just let yourself. Don't be dogged down with the if, buts and maybes, because how do you know they exist unless you go through it.
And the most important thing of all, learn and take what you can from any experience.
… So the day ended. The doubt and worry which existed before, on train journey, dissipated within the first 3 minutes of my entering. I realised I’m not the same person I was three years ago when I left and found, because of journeys I had taken and further lessons learned, I had grown as a person.
I suppose, what I'm trying to accomplish with this post is an acceptance of things you might fear, but also to project to you all, you must believe in yourself. Your mind can be strong enough to cope. Each journey you take yourself on will offer you the gift to loving yourself that little bit more.
